Wow. What better way to kick off the wedding season with a day full of elements that I love. Please allow me to list all the reasons I wanted to pinch the cheeks of this wedding…
Jenny & Pat are a photogenic couple who are so sweet, so fun, so gracious, and so into one another.
Despite it being VERY warm for early May, the bridal party and family members were super cool about it.
Hair & makeup on the ladies lasted through the day… thanks to the Uppity Sister stylists.
Jenny & Pat chose the BEST color palette ever in my totally biased opinion.
The flowers by Bloom 47 made me drool. (And I hear that Adria is great to work with!)
Jenny has got to be the prettiest laugher I’ve ever met, and Pat is the best sport. Seriously. And both assets came in handy quite a few times.
The wedding party kept us on our toes and cracked me up.
Both families were incredibly laid back, welcoming and all had rockin’ senses of humor.
The officiant, Eric Huffman, at Broadway United Methodist church was phenomenal! He had everyone laughing with all the humor injected into a very personal ceremony.
The reception venue (Club 1000) had great lighting and was a blank canvas for the party to adorn.
The series of toasts during the reception were equally sentimental and amusing…and some moments were even jaw-dropping hilarious. Sometimes, I had to remind myself to take a photo rather than bust out laughing.
Their group of friends really knew how to party. Dancers galore! No extra effort needed to get everyone out on the dancefloor.
That said, the band, LOST WAX, was perhaps the best cover band I’ve ever been around. I was wowed.
So I’m excited to share with you these images. And thanks to my good pal Leigh Miller for being my assistant!
Jenny & Pat…THANK YOU for making me a part of your day! You two are flipping amazing together and couples like you make me LOVE my job even more. Have a wonderful newlywed-dom. Hugs!!!
