Brandon & Katie: not your typical July wedding day

Katie & Brandon are lucky. They are both such fun individuals. They are both so flippin’ beautiful. They found one another! And they ended up with the most PERFECT weather for their wedding day… in the middle of JULY!!! Midwest Julys are far from known for their mild conditions.

All of the above equals MY luck: a picture perfect wedding day!!! SERIOUSLY. And if you don’t believe me, check this post out. And the next one, too..which will come maybe on Sunday… because there were just too many good photos thanks to them planning 2.5 hours for driving around with their friends in a TROLLEY!!! Photo ops galore!!

Courtney Tompson was my assistant….she borrowed my wide-angle and got the killer shot of the church where everything began. And HOW luscious are Katie’s flowers? her color palette=delicious!!!

Sigh. I’m telling you, it just keeps getting better…

I about died when I saw how darling the flower girl was…and in that DRESS!!!

Let’s talk about Katie’s bridal party. They were all so much fun, duh! BUT… they were also good friends–helping to air out the bride before she got on with her day…and making all the other adjustments that girls need.

So wanna see Katie…this picture-perfect bride I’ve been hinting at?? Fine.

And then the boys… Courtney’s charge. 🙂 The groom knew that his future was going to be a bright one… ok, that was lame.

Katie & Brandon opted to see each other before the ceremony! I LOVE this part.

Ok, so.. her eyes are seriously this blue. I did a mild contrast pop and brightened it just a tad as a general exposure tweak…and this is what I got. ELECTRIFYING, no?

And then it was time for the whole “get married” thing… 😉
