Love does not have a climate preference. As can be proved by the beautiful wedding of Brad and Stephanie this past weekend in Kansas City. It snowed all night on Friday. And all day on Saturday. But it didn’t matter. Guests still came. And they had a magical, chilly day. 🙂
Here are a few pics that I promised I’d post for them before their honeymoon (they leave tomorrow!!!)
Stephanie was no bridezilla—even when she learned the salon didn’t have her and her bridesmaids scheduled–despite two confirmation calls.
Her dress was pretty on its own…
But she is what made it beautiful…
She and her bridesmaids were so fun, never hesitating to laugh out loud.
And the gentlemen…they were studs. 🙂
The ceremony was so warm, inviting and merry. The church was perfectly adorned with Christmas decor.
We braved the ticking clock and the falling snow…and slushy roads…and growling stomachs…and waiting guests… 🙂 to get to the KC Plaza… where an awesome store–Images of Nature — let the group inside to stay warm…and then gave us the OK to model in the windows. Passersby LOVED the show.
The reception was at the Clubhouse on Baltimore…
I stole the bride and groom away so we could get some pics. I’ll post more later, but here are two for now:
Stephanie and Brad–Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day. You two are positively adorable!!! And I wish you the best on your honeymoon, and through the holidays.
I’ll post some more in a few days…so check back when you’re home!
Mom - Darbi – the Christmas pictures are awesome – your comments under them made me teary eyed. (I’m so mushy). And the other pictures – you do such great work, as always. Wedding, engagement, family, you name it. You do such beautiful work, I could look forever.
