I get asked all the time what my favorite thing to shoot is…and I tell the truth…I say I love it all. Because I do. It’s like picking a favorite child in some ways… but if I really, really, really am honest with myself… I think I love engagement sessions a smidgen more than the rest. It’s a session that marries (no pun intended) what I love about my job: connecting with people, getting people to connect to one another and being creative in the environment. Plus, let’s be honest…they are definitely the least stressful shoots, too. The two hours goes by so fast…and sometimes, it just feels like I’m a welcome third-wheel with a camera on a date with the bride-and-groom-to-be!
