And I had myself a great selection of photos for Erin and Jay’s engagement pictures. They are getting married in May..a month before ME! And get this–we’re getting hitched in the same church and using the same minister… but we just picked a minister off a list…and the church is not either of our churches…it’s just a cute lil’ historical site! Anyway…
I’ve known Jay since I was a wee one myself…so it’s so good to know he’s ended up with such a beautiful, fun-loving woman. The two were a bit nervous at first, but within moments, they let their love take over. Well…that and the cold. It was a blustery day to say the least, and we were at the mercy of unforgiving winds.
But fear not, friends. Erin and Jay knew how to warm up…to the camera and each other!
They live in a darling barn-turned-house in Gretna, Neb. (p.s. if any pics look a bit distorted, it’s the blog’s fault…click on them to be taken to the real photo… )
Jay has his own towing company…and although he had trouble seeing why Erin and I wanted to take advantage of his rig, he was a good sport.
They have a dog, whose sexuality is questionable. Although he is a male by nature, the pink collar and his gender-bender name of Lexie have had an influence. But he’s such a sweetie. And gets sad when his owners take off without him. Why? Note the black device on his collar. He knows the power of the invisible fencing.
There were so many interesting contraptions around the property where they live. One is this old Ford pickup.
Ain’t she purty? (as my dad says…)
Jay sometimes serves as a human-towing service, too.
I can’t believe the branch could hold up the rock…or should I say boulder??! 🙂
One of my faves from the session…
Jay thinks I should wear camouflage if I’m going to spy like this…
And yes…white boy and girl can jump!
And lastly…or shall I say FINALLY…
Sorry I had so many to post!!
I have tons and tons left to process…. 🙂
