My first visit to Dallas, Texas was amazing. As I blogged about earlier, I met up with some pals from a forum I belong to, and we talked shop, learned from one another…and had two shoots that were coordinated by Miss Stacy Reeves.
It was incredibly hot when we headed to Deep Ellum. Our bride, Paige, was not fazed by the heat, nor the fact that there were a dozen photographers with lenses in her face. We began at the famous blue wall. The following picture would have been so much cooler if the car weren’t competing with the wall’s hue.
I think I’m going to paint a wall in my house blue.
One of my faves of Paige.
We also worked with off-camera flash. I’m digging it and can’t wait to use it more in my upcoming sessions.
Oh, yes. We couldn’t just walk by the wall painted like our Stars and Stripes.
More off-camera flash.
I really like this image because she looks so desolate… and sad. But since a spotlight is on her, it emphasizes the darkness around her.
Thanks, Paige!
