Two late summers ago, I took family photos of the H family. My impression: darling all together, hams individually and candy for my camera! When I shot them yet again last week, they lived up to those adjectives a second time. We headed down to Flatbranch park in Columbia to enjoy the unseasonably mild weather.
I love when clothes show character.
Caroline is the eldest.
Don’t be fooled by their innocent eyes and timid smiles. They LOVE the limelight. Even in tunnels.
And it excites me to see two sisters so loving already. Anytime I asked them to stand close, they hugged!
A nice-looking nuclear family, don’t you think?
And then…I asked the kids to have more attitude. Let’s just say that Kate brought it! In two frames…I laughed out loud so I had to share the actual movement!
What I would do for a pic like this of MY parents!!!
I must admit, the H family has vertical strength….Impressed was I, said Yoda.
The girls got a surprise at the end…they got to play in the fountains. But I’m thinking mom was just as excited as her daughter…and can you see how much they look alike now?
Ahh yes, a similar shot as my last family session…the ever-classic family-stays-together, family-gets-wet together image!
And closing with the cozy towel shots that always make kids look so cuddly…
Thank you, H family for sharing a FUN night with me! I hope I get to see you grow up now that I’m only going to be 2.5 hours away in Kansas City! 🙂
