Delicious. Cozy. Warm??? Yep, this fall, so far it has been absolutely friggin’ beautiful. As is the tradition of the past three years, if I work on my birthday, I bring my camera and shoot the beauty I see. This year, since my b-day fell on Sunday, I brought my camera to work on Halloween. I work at Columbia College, and its landscaping is possibly one of the prettiest in the city.
As can be read on the Web site, Columbia College was originally founded as Christian College in 1851… this sign here proves it.
And in this same courtyard, I saw these flowers on their way out.
And here are some more glimpses of the day. Sigh. All of them are reasons I love fall.
Now if only I could find the same beauty in winter…which is around the corner! 🙁
