I just received word that my Canon 40D (which I’ve already named Geraldine) is on its way to me!!! I preordered it back in August, but it is now officially released. It’s like being set up on a blind date…but one in which you know will work out eventually once I get used to her beauty AND understand its nature.
I have two sessions coming up. One on Saturday and one on Tuesday. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use Geraldine for them because, like any healthy relationships, you don’t want to hit a homerun on a first date!!! I need to hold her hand first. Then maybe hug it. Then kiss it…THEN I’ll go for the grand slam! Gotta be confident first.
Haha. Neil is going to be jealous again. But it’s like him getting a brand new set of drums.
