There is nothing like being greeted by a baby with all smiles, but that is exactly what I walked into when I arrived to shoot Sadie’s 3-month pics. As much as she liked to smile, she also liked playing a game called: “only smile when Darbi doesn’t have the camera up to her face”… And because it really did seem so deliberate, it had me laughing. But Sadie underestimated me–I was able to catch several silly baby grins and her cuteness was indeed enough to make me smile lots myself.
I love watching two parents interact with the light of their lives. Andie & Joe were so head over heels with their daughter!! Adorbs! (this last word is something one of my brides taught me…and I like it! haha)
And now here is the picture that made Joe think I was crazy. I’m glad I sacrificed my reputation for it though because it makes me giggle and think if I were the parents, I’d hang a large print of this above my bed. 😉 (See, Joe? It doesn’t matter that you didn’t get your regularly scheduled pedicure. haha )
Andie has excellent taste, btw. I really wanted to steal this chair in Sadie’s room to go in my own asparagus-green & fuschia bedroom. Ok, maybe I’ll take the baby, too, as the accent.
And this is the other family member. He’s as cool as his name–Beamer!
Beamer isn’t the only one who is too cool.
Awww, look…baby’s first mustache! Or as Joe said…her first time smelling grass. 🙂
When we tried to get Beamer in a pic, he rejected us. When we told him to go play, he parked his Beamer rear end right down in the frame.
Check out this hat! See? Andie’s taste is killer!
While Beamer babysat, Andie & Joe played good sports. How darling are they? No wonder Sadie is cute-a-licious.
Sadie, the trooper, was getting sleepy by the time the sun started setting. So we’ll end with these sweet ones.
Andie & Joe…(& Sadie & Beamer!!)… I had so much fun with you four. Sadie is a lucky lil’ girl to have a protective dog to watch over her and two fun, loving parents to raise her. Enjoy the rest of the non-walking months. 😉
xoxo
