Ashley & Colin: junior high sweethearts!!! really?? really!

I am always amazed when I hear that a couple met in high school and is getting married. So imagine how elated I was to learn that Ashley & Colin met in the SIXTH grade at Papillion Junior High…started “going out” in 9th…and have been an adorable couple ever since!!!

So how appropriate that they wanted their engagement session to take place where they met…and where Colin proposed!

She may or may not have almost fallen. But Colin, being the manly man he is… caught her! 😉

The one on the far left is so “them”… she holds onto his thumb when they “hold hands”… 🙂

And I’m sorry if Ashley gets the spotlight on her in so many of these. That is something Colin just has to deal with because his wife-to-be has such flipping gorgeous eyes!

One of my faves from the day!! And I love this one so much because I didn’t even direct this..other than asking them to sit down. They started getting cold…so they snuggled all on their own.

This is the exact spot where Colin requested that his best friend marry him….

Across the street is where all the schoolbuses hang out. We didn’t necessarily get an invitation to their party, but thought the lighting and the bright hues were calling to us…or me, at least 😉 and A&C were great sports. So glad, too because they worked it out!!!

Then a random mural of tropical scenes waved to us…or me. So fitting for the fall-like weather. 😉
