I feel so bad that I have taken forever to blog this wedding. Mostly because I am  just swimming in waters so deep thanks to my TO DO list. But it’s SO worth blogging. It’s possibly in my top 5 weddings of all time. All the elements came together….
1. I have shot Erin’s sister’s wedding two years ago. So there were many similarities, but also some huge differences. I love working with families more than once. I truly adore the F family.
2. The weather was phenomenal. Best wedding weather of the year by far.
3. We had plenty of time for photos… so we were never rushed…and I was so incredibly inspired by Erin & Matt, and when that happens, I am ever grateful for a good amount of time to exercise my excitement. I expected to be wowed by Erin as a bride, for her sister was just as gorgeous when she married Paul. Good looks clearly run in their family.
4. When Ali & I saw Erin’s dress…we both let out a huge sigh. Because it was so stunning. Flecks of gold glittery things (I suck at terms, sorry!), and it just fit Erin so perfectly.
5. Matt and his crew were all a bunch of fun-loving guys, up for a good time, as well as good sports. Groomsmen delight right there!!
6. And the bridesmaids… gorgeous. Every one of them. But they were sweet and fun and totally THERE for Erin in whatever capacity she needed them. Good friends for the win!
7. The whole day had a romantic, classic feel, from Erin’s hair and dress to the reception venue and color palette of Black & white.
8. One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Matt’s expressions during the speeches. At one point during his brother’s toast, Matt was laughing so hard I could feel how his cheeks were hurting and his eyes were brimming with “belly laugh” tears. That’s so great to witness, let alone document!!!
9. The way that Matt looks at Erin is so enviable. Their love and friendship together danced before my lens, and is one of the reasons I truly could have shot them for 12 hours straight.
I hope these photos do more than justice for the wedding because it was positively amazing…I left on a high and that night I remember telling my husband that weddings like that recharge my own batteries… which is what I needed to get through the last leg of the season!!! So with that…enjoy… and try not to drool TOO much. 😉 {sorry for way too many pics. I just couldn’t narrow it down!!!}
