Do you know what the Golden Hour is? It’s the hour or so before sunset, when everything is bathed in a golden color. It’s magically beautiful. But sometimes, I get treated to a Rose-hued Hour instead. And the engagement session I shot with Bailey & David in Merriam, Kansas, was one of those times. I loved it. LIKE a lot. The flowers on the trees. The temps that were neither cold nor warm. Purely spring perfection.
And then the lovely couple who came before my camera made it all the more enjoyable. David is a playful wise guy. He makes me laugh. And even when Bailey chided him to behave, in her eyes I saw exactly what I feel when I have to do the same to my own husband. So you can say I was highly amused.
Bailey’s hair. That’s all I’ll say. Ok, I’ll also say that I love her hair color. On her especially. SIGH.
