Well, well, well…it feels like forever since I last posted photos of an actual shoot. I took a month off of sessions etc so I could get settled in to our new place. (I promise, I will post photos of that soon!!!)
How appropriate that the first shoot out of the gate post-hibernation was that of my lil’ niece…. my sister and her hubby came down to Kansas City to stay with us this past weekend, and let’s just say that my camera LOVES Cailin nearly as much as I do. I won’t do too much “talking” as I admit, I am hurrying to get this posted before Grey’s Anatomy comes on (but I promised my sister I’d do it tonight!!) so here goes….(and note: I did NOT tell my sister that the majority of Cailin’s outfits must be red to fit my Darbi G. color motif…)
We’ll start with a family photo… and here, I think her smile actually looks more like Nick.
We might have had a visitor during the shoot…(and he looks awfully like their own cat back in Lincoln, Nebraska!!)

She simmered down…but was kinda cranky, so we switched her into the attire that the day called for…. our lil’ Husker cheerleader!!
Another outfit change…this one into some overalls that my mom (C’s grandma) bought her… my mom requested a bale of hay. These grass pics will have to do.
Cailin likes cats. Despite the fact that her cat at home is evil. (Sorry, Temp, she IS… haha) Kramer is a bit sweeter…though I can tell he’s still not too fond of babies…who pull his hair. (forgive the poor photo quality of these…I was in the middle of switching lenses so was not ready to catch these with “flair”… haha)

Can’t wait to see all of you next week for Turkey Day. So glad I have a niece to be thankful for. (and a cat…and a husband…and a house…and a family…and friends..and my business…and my blog readers…ok, you get the point.) Off to watch the last 45 min of Grey’s!!
